The Brief

The South African National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) approached us to create a TV commercial in celebration of its 50th anniversary. The main ask was to not only create awareness, but to also build a sense of pride amongst them existing volunteers. 

The Solution

We saw this an opportunity to acknowledge the unsung heroes of the NSRI and thank them for them committed and selfless service – keeping South Africans safe. These volunteers are often working odd hours, committing big chunks of what others consider to be personal time or time-off to fulfilling their duties. This means that they miss out on many of life’s key events. Something that is not only admirable but certainly worth celebrating.
