Vodacom

The Brief

South Africa’s consumer love to shop around for the best deals. As a result, they tend to have multiple sim cards from all the telecoms providers and use them, based on which provider is offering the lowest call and data rates. Vodacom needed to find a way to ensure that their customers kept Vodacom sim cards in their phones and used them, instead of their competitors.

The Solution

We got the entire country shaking. Literally. With a custom-built app. By simply shaking their phones, users could win prizes. We created a charismatic character, Bra  Shakes, who, through an integrated campaign, taught South Africans how to shake in different ways.
